Description of the house
Casa Robalo is set in a magnificent location. It borders directly to the Ria Formosa Nature Park. The garden is only separated from the lagoon (mudflats between the coast and the island) by a sandy path. At low tide you can go for a great walk on the lagoon or swim in its streams. Or you can cross over to the long beaches of the islands in front of the coast.
The garden of Casa Robalo extends to the lagoon. Around the house are the amazing subtropical garden and the swimming pool. You?ll have complete privacy, also on the beautiful, covered front terrace.
There are two bedrooms in the ?main house? and one in the rear of the house. The 4th bedroom with its own bathroom is in the garden, adjacent to the swimming pool and the cosy section with barbecue and bar. This is a lovely spot for a barbecue meal at the edge of the pool!
Surroundings of Casa Robalo
Fuseta, traditional a fishing village, is accessible in only 5 minutes by car. In summer a ferry at the port of Fuseta can take you the island in front of the coast. The miles long yellow golden beaches on the island has plenty of space for all visitors.
Fuseta has its own cosy beach that is suitable for children. Fuseta has various different shops, supermarkets and nice restaurants/eateries. The small market hall always has a daily supply of fresh seafood, meat and vegetables.
Casa Robalo is located between the towns of Tavira and Olhão at a distance of approx. 10 km. The ancient centre of Tavira is lively and very attractive with its many restaurants.
Layout
All rooms are on one floor. Living room with open kitchen, 2 bedrooms and one bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin in the mainhouse, one bedroom with bathroom (shower, toilet and washbasin) in the rear. A separate 4th bedroom with bathroom (shower, toilet, bidet and washbasin)
Notes
• The swimming pool measures 7x3 m
• The 4th bedroom is in a separate small building close to the pool
• In the months of July and August, when people mostly spend their time outdoors, the house is suitable for max. 8 people. Outside these months, because of the relatively small living room, the accommodation would be suitable for max. 6 people.
